The fortnight gone by...

Its been really hectic from a work perspective with a successful launch of probably the first successful Small Business Server 2011 done in Australia by me with Microsoft Tech teams in conference from US  & India. The product is out for commercial launch sometime early next month. It was a wonderful achievement & now I will roll out a plan for all my other corporate customers. I was a part of the Beta Team for testing this product during its development.
I did go out to watch Don McLean live and enjoyed his songs as he dished them out one after the other. It was wonderful to watch him live at Enmore Theatre.
Kanika was down with viral fever of 104.5 and I did what I did to the best of my abilities as a father to get her back to feeling better. I took the day off work the next day and took her to the doctor getting her examined and ensuring she got the right medication. Later, I pampered her with some nice YumCha on the way back home. Cold Compresses & body massages did the trick. I've installed a portable air conditioner for her at her mother's house & given her a Macbook for school.
Here's wishing her a speedy recovery...
On the personal front there's been lots of introspection on what I believe is right & wrong. I do believe that whatever I did was for the right reasons and feel strongly that building a relationship on false hopes, lies, hidden secrets & selfish motives is certainly not right. I have always believed in the Gita & will continue to do what I believe is right as I know that my inner conscience tells me that I have not been a cheat. I sleep a peaceful nights sleep each night not disturbed by nightmares!
I do believe 2011 is my year and I hope in this year I see myself achieving success in all my endeavours and settling down after a turbulent past of three years for which I have myself to blame..
I feel really nice as life unravels and time tells a story with new twists and turns.. Life goes on on a canter as new challenges present themselves to me which I humbly accept making learning's out of it..
Sanjay is in India with Dad taking a call on his recovery plan and next steps in relation to his treatment & possible move to Australia.  Get well soon Dad!

The last week of January-first week of feb 2011...

It was an amazing week keeping me busy with work. I enjoyed Vishy's visit and though we met a few times but spoke extensively over the phone, it felt great to catch up with our truly mature friendship which has stood the test of over two decades & only gone from strength to strength.

Dad's attempts to win over his battle with his illness are worthy of appreciation. I am confident he will get better. I thank all my friends for praying for his well being & for speaking with him & mum to keep his spirits high. Special thanks to Meher & Romal..
Mum has been by Dad's side for the past two years and has done a sterling job worthy of praise for which we love her so dearly.
My Seniors Workshop has recommenced in 2011 & to adopt a Retirement Village with 400 families and to spend two hours every alternate saturday with them makes me feel really nice & puts my mind at ease.
Breakfast with Gareth & mates every other saturday is a ritual now where we have a great time together in a very mature way. I have learnt a lot from all my mates who are successful people from different walks of lives & cherish my friendship with each & every one of them.
Meher, has painted this lovely painting for me in oils which I cannot wait to receive & have framed & put up in my lounge. Its friends like these who make one feel so special & value the essence of true friendship so selflessly.

I was pretty concerned about my friend Jo, who lives up in Queensland, which was hit by Cyclone Anthony & Cyclone Yasi. I'm glad it didnt cause loss of lives to her or her friends & family, though it did cause a fair bit of damage & destruction thru it's path. I hope we can make it to the Witsundays & do some spear fishing & scuba diving sometime in the near future.
Sydney has been boiling over the past few days with temperatures going up into the mid 40's. I'm glad its all over for the moment.
Sanjay is going over to meet Dad in ten days from now to review his health. I hope he can clear Dad to travel to Sydney or even drop him here with me so that I can help Dad speedtrack his way to recovery.

Thats all for now...
