Two great icons disappear from Hollywood/Music World in one week!
It was really sad to know of the death of two great icons from Hollywood & the Music World ie. Michael Jackson & Farrah Fawcett. While the media has covered Michael Jackson so comprehensively I do feel sad that the other legend did not get enough coverage & so decided to post a tribute which is dubbed with one of my old time favorites..

We had a nice breakfast with bacon, eggs & sausages... Went and did some shopping for Kanika at Westfield... Lunch at Nando's... Kanika had Ribs, Dad & Me had Chicken Peri Peri & Mum had a Veggie Burger... had dessert & coffee at Max Brenner... Went later in the evening to Shuchi & Sanjeev's for tea.... Came back home... spoke with Vijay Chacha & Suman Chachi over skype... Nice to speak with Sanjay too... A glass of wine & fridge leftovers for dinner... An another weekend goes by!

Mum Makes Mutton Biryani & Meat Curry for Shuchi & Sanjeev
Sanjeev & Shuchi have been family friends and are virtually part of the family as they have been meeting us all since we first met years ago. After several invitations to their lovely restaurants & at home, Mum decided to invite them over for some simple home made dinner. Shuchi demanded Mutton Biryani & Meat Curry from Mummy so Mum obliged by making a delicious spread with raita & salad. Kanika chipped in with serving the dessert (Strawberry Cheesecake) & I tidied up with Shuchi later. Dad contributed with the Dried Pan he'd got from India. A nice evening spent with friends who have stood the test of fire and made me believe that they are with me thru thick & thin.. Thanks guys... Missing Neeraj & Jacci (& Nikku & Roro) tonight coz they too have been special to me over the years! Will catch up with them in Dubai in Sept 2009.
Cheryl's sleepover with Kanika
Cheryl had come for a sleepover with Kanika. Dad decided to shout us all for dinner so we went out for Chinese. It was a nice evening. The food was amazing and tickled our taste buds. I loved the Sizzling Garlic Prawns & the Salt & Pepper Bean-curd. The girls came back and decided to do their girly stuff as usual. They later watched movies and slept in the TV lounge whilst Dad and me spent some boys time together!

It's a real challenge opening them up...
It does get serious when they play up!
But thank God they help me pay my bills!

Kanika plays Basketball for Hills Grammar School U 16 2009 tournament
It was a great feeling to watch Kanika play her first match for The Hills Grammar School U 16 Basketball Tournament at The Fred Caterson Reserve. She will be playing for the entire season and is part of a young & vibrant team. Sorry resolution of the pictures was not very good as I was using my blackberry! Go Kanika Go!
