Birmingham to Brugge..

We left Birmingham for Dover yesterday early morning.. Took the ferry from Dover to Boulogne... and then drove from Boulogne to Brugge in Brussels. A picturesque old world tourist destination famous for its beer houses amongst other tourist attractions. The hotel Aragon was very comfortable.. We walked through the streets had some beer (Mum & Dad had Tea and Kanika stuck to water!) and later had dinner at a local restaurant.. Nice day..

Upon visiting Bruges, I immediately noticed that this city has carefully cherished its architectural and artistic treasures from the past. The people were warm & friendly... This is a world heritage city..

Shruti drove the girls to Alton Towers.. to one of the best amusement parks in England..

Sanjay's Birthday Dinner..

Since Shruti will be off to Cambridge next weekend & we will be away in Europe Shruti insisted we celebrate Sanjay's Birthday which is the week after, so we went out for dinner to a fine dining Italian Restaurant where we had nice Italian food..

Family Reunion 2009

Its absolutely mind blowing to be with my dear brother & his family alongwith Mum & Dad.. and having Ashima around too! We've had great fun together chatting, strolling around, boozing & having Sanjay, Shalini & Shruti, Riya playing perfect hosts.. The girls went for Garbha.. We went to Horborne High Street for a walk.. Had some Saag Meat one night & Nihari the next night.. Watched the India Pakistan Champions Trophy Match.. gossiped.. drank nice beer, wines  whisky..Will cut down the words and keep it pictorial else this blog will be full!
