Our outing to Lindisfarne (Holy Island)

As requested by Dad, here are a few photos of Dad, Simon and Myself out for the Day at a VERY VERY windy Holy Island. This was the first time both Simon and Myself have visited Holy Island which is very close to the border of Scotland. We have all said we will revisit in the Summer time when its less windy.................

And..........is it just me or does Dad look exactly like our beloved Grandfather, Bauji.

I will post a clearer picture when i go home this weekend, as Dad has a picture of Bauji where he is standing in exactly the same way as Dad.....Like Father like Son !!!!
Love you Dad

Kanika & Me..

I've probably had the best bonding sessions with Kanika over the past year or so. We have shared great times.. cooked & baked together, watched movies together, been out for meals to nice restaurants, been on the beaches, watched her dance performances, attended school meetings, studied & even fought with each other.... yes real pillow fights!
She has supported me & stood by me cheering me up when I've been low & vice versa. I will do anything to buy Kanika happiness & live up to my new year resolution of devoting this year to her as she has given me a new purpose to life especially after the recent developments in my personal life. I would like her to keep a cordial relationship with her mother too and not let our differences affect that in any way!

Snowy pictures of Hazlewood Castle (the Wedding venue)

The roads upto the castle were very slippy, not very nice to drive on

This fountain was pretty much completly frozen. Dont like to think what happened to the poor fish that are usually in there!!!

The Buddy Holly Story...

A few pictures from my blackberry as cameras were not allowed...

I decided to take Kanika to see Buddy - A musical story depicting the famous Buddy Holly Story of the 60's. We went to the Lyric Theatre at Star City and had the buffet for dinner. Kanika was dressed beautifully and looked like a pretty young lady. It was Dad & Baby's day out & we did enjoy it. We were booked in the Dress circle & got to mingle with the famous Peggy Sue as well as cast members of the play.
The musical was stunning with great rock n roll stuff & the beer added to the befitting ambience for a near perfect setting. Kanika got Peggy Sue's autograph on her book.

More snowy pictures of York

All these photos were taken on my way to work yesterday morning. I think i took slightly too long taking them as i was almost late for work hahaha

The Minster from the bus stop where i catch my bus to work

The view from the end of our street. I was out bright and early while everyone (including Simon) were all still tucked up nice and warm in their beds.

The Minster View from our street

This is a picture of the snow actually coming down on Sunday night although the picture isnt too clear

Well we are having some snow this winter

The front drive and my cool car. Had to park Shalini's car on the kerb as it would not drive up the slope on the drive.

The park across the road. The ducks in the pond looked beautiful as I walked past them in the snow.

The road down to the corner shop.

The back garden early morning.

Here are the views from the house
