Dad... This one's for you..

A truly self made man, he carried the flame for the Tokyo Olympics 1964, Was awarded a medal for navigating the ship that bombed Karachi harbour in 1971, Took premature retirement as a Commodore in the Indian Navy, Raised two successful sons, Resettled over a hundred war widows and ex-servicemen in a business venture after his innings in the Indian Navy, a quiet social worker who does his bit without talking about it.... in short a LEGEND.. This one's a salute to him as he's recovering from Prostate Cancer in yet another battle!

My Birthday Week..

I had a fantastic birthday week which made me realise how fortunate I am to have some wonderful friends. I sincerely cherish my friends who have stood by me thru thick n thin and made me feel special.
Deep in my heart I was disturbed over Dad's health which dampened my spirits but the fact that Sanjay & Rajinder Chachaji are there to give Mum some confidence makes me feel a lot better.
I have had a very busy couple of weeks working long hours and look forward to the dividends of the hard work.
My visits to the gym and occasional walks with Simba have let me unwind to recharge my mind & body.
Deep down in my heart I have really missed my darling Kanika but the selfless side of me feels good as she's having a swell time in India.
A very special thank you to Rajinder Chacha, Tara Chachi, Gunjan, Vijay Chacha & Suman Chachi & Varun, Aku  & Adhiraj for extending their hospitality & love to Kanika.
Of course Mum & Dad I do love you dearly and wish you take strength from the fact that you have two sons, who always have you in their mind and will do their best to make you feel proud of them...
