Leaving for a Day Out at Luna Park

We had a lovely day out at Luna Park, one of the amusement parks in Sydney, for a day out organised by one of my school friends's Anjali thru her company, Optus.

Lunch was sensational with Chicken Sandwiches, Juice, fruit & a mars bar. We relaxed in the picnic area and chilled out with general gossip.

It was great fun and we had a nice time. Yujita & the girls enjoyed the rides and Vishal & me enjoyed the beer at the pub that we cheekily had on the pretence of enquring about the Jazz Band performance.

We took videos of the trip but unfortunately the wesite will get too heavy if I upload them.

The local birds also came to say bye to Dada & Dadi!

The Local birds (Lorikeets, Cockatoos & Rosellas) dropped by our front & back garden, that Dad & Mum had so nicely & painstakingly taken care of during their visit to Australia. These particular ones are of The Australian Galah. The Galah is one of the most abundant and familiar of the Australian parrots, found in large flocks, in a variety of timbered habitats, usually near water. It occurs over most of Australia, including some offshore islands, and is becoming more abundant round areas of human habitation. Galahs have a bouncing acrobatic flight, but spend much of the day sheltering from heat in the foliage of trees and shrubs. The voice is a distinctive high-pitched screech, 'chi-chi'. Huge noisy flocks of birds congregate and roost together at night.

Kanika & Friends Surprise Farewell Party for Mum & Dad

Kanika & her friends, Cathrine, Grace & Sophie decided to give Mum & Dad a surprise farewell party. It was really touching to see the way they came back after school and baked some lovely Cake with icing, cookies & mini muffins and decorated the rumpus which they had locked under the pretence that they were playing there. They even bought a small token of their love & affection for their Dadi & Dada (as they called Mum & dad). They sang a made up song... we'll miss you on Merry Chistmas!

Dad & Me Putting up a Picket Fence!

Dad decided to help me put up a new picket fence from beside the garage to my backyard & pool area. He motivated me and infact that was his gift for me! Thank you Dad... What was really enjoyable was not the the fact that you presented me with that but the fun of working together with you and to see the enthusiasm to work on a reasonably tough project right from concept to completion! I simply loved working with you...
