A thought..

Misunderstandings happen. What stops us from sorting them out, is that repulsive after taste left by unkind remarks...

Rakesh Uncle is no more!

A family friend and a great human being with simple habits, Rakesh Uncle was battling cancer in Melbourne & lost his battle on friday last week. Our hearts go out to Ranjana Aunty & the family during these stressful moments hoping that they find strength to overcome them. Wishing Rakesh Uncle lots of peace & happiness and will always remember him as a wonderful person.

Thoughts...

Full stop is not the end because we can write a new sentence after it

Similarly in life failure is not the real end it can be a real beginning of a success...

Two great quotes from two men I admire!

"We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future"

George Bernard Shaw

"I don't believe I always take the right decisions. I take a decision and then make it right"

Ratan Tata

Seasons Greetings!

Martin Luther King once said "Two bulls always fight in your mind, Good and Evil. Do you know which one will win? The one you feed the most." Lets celebrate the victory of Good over Evil in our minds...
HAPPY DIWALI !!!

My Stars!!!!

Aries: The days' planetary influence is one that creates a lovely space where mending bridges, sorting out issues in relationships and creating understanding between people is possible. Even if there is nothing major to deal with, it can lend a loving hand to bring greater love into your already existing relationships. This is also a good day for showcasing talents at work, seeking new employment or perhaps bettering your income in some way. http://www.astrozone.com.au/

This One is for Dad!

Great to be back in India & that too with Dad. I'm coming to terms with the chaos on the roads and the hospitality that India is so well known for. Being with Dad has given both of us tremendous strength. I can see Dad improving with each day. I am sure he will be fighting fit very soon.
It;s great to be with Mum & appreciate her role for being with Dad all through his illness.
I've had some great food & spent short bursts of time while Dad has been busy or resting with friends & family. I had some traditional himachali taqeera at Meenakshi's Mum's place for breakfast. It was closure time for me spending a couple of hours with Suman Aunty & Cmde JP Sood who had returned back to the country from a long overseas trip. Gunjan made some delicious food and brought it over yesterday for lunch. I've eaten Kathi rolls & Tandoori Chicken in the hope that my body metabolism grinds away and prevents any deposits around my waste. I visited Kalka Temple with Vinod & had a special darshan for 20mins with our local deities bringing back prashaad for friends & family.
Dad & Mum were dropped at Airforce Station Hindon following which I went and spent the evening with Mini & Umesh & friends at The Diwali Mela followed by fireworks where we had typical Indian snacks & some beer.
Came back home & slept..
Today I will go & spend the morning with Dad while Mum is relieved to go to R & R Hospital. I will be meeting Romal in the arvo sometime followed by Dinner with Mini & Umesh (she's making some mutton curry!)..
It's great to see Dad smiling and a lot more cheerful than what he sounded over the phone!
