After nearly 35 years I got a chance to be together with my sons, daughter-in-law and three wonderful grand daughters. It was indeed very nostalgic to drive with them through places I drove them to in my Toyota 35 years back. This holiday really the first after years has been very rejuvenating and has brought me both tears of joy and sadness. Sadness, yes for sure, visiting England for the first time without Bindo, my dearest brother.
Joy of course, there is no better feeling than being with your dear ones, your sons, a very caring daughter-in-law and the grandchildren. We learned many a thing from Britishers but probably have not learned the importance of a holiday. This time, I realised, perhaps for the first time, what a good holiday can do to a person.
These ten days will etch a special place in our my heart. Driven around in Sanjay's Mercedes's cars and cared by one and all.
Sanjay planned this trip to utmost perfection and made me feel proud of him in every way.
Rajiv's caring for his brother and Shalini, sparing time for the family in spite of his very tight schedule was very gratifying , Shruts showing all the care in spite of her preparing to join at Cambridge.. Kanika looked her best and relaxed . God, the tiny one has really grown and turned very lovingly bossy.
