I grew up watching lots of Raj Kapoor, Guru Dutt, Dilip Kumar & Dev Anand movies. Raj Kapoor was my definite favourite for the subtle messages that he conveyed thru each movie of his. I thought his movies had lots of character & Dad ensured I got the message thru each movie I watched with him. I hated Jaagte Raho as though Dad tried hard to make me appreciate it, I found it boring initially though later I seemed to like it especially the last scene where Raj Kapoor's thirst is being quenched by Nargis.
